Early Results and Wins

1980s-1999: Consistent mid-12 runs, mostly at York Dragway.

1999: Owned and raced now by Tony Wynne-Jones. Extensive modifications made, ensuring Trespasser’s competitiveness for the next few years. RAC MSA Competition Car Log Book obtained by Tony. Trespasser was now “legitimate”.

In this year, Trespasser (WB29) was campaigned by Tony in the Wild Bunch Series and the Roy Wilding Nostalgia Race Car Series. Tony secured a second, and a fourth place respectively.

2000: Owned now by  Daryl Howells and renamed, “Jolly Boys Outing”, Trespasser (WB67) was driven to 5th place in the Real Steel Series; 13th in the Super Series; and 10th in both the Wild Bunch and Custom Series’. Darryl also took the Wild Bunch “Best Newcomer” award for that season.

2001:  Still driven by Darryl, who earned a creditable 7th place in both Wild Bunch and Super Series’, and 9th in the Real Steel challenge.

2002: Renamed “Wheels of Fortune”. A cool 4th place in the Wild Bunch Series. A 6th in the Roy Wilding Nostalgia Race Cars Series.

2003: A heavy season seeing an overall 14th in the Wild Bunch Series; 12th in the Real Steel; 16th in the Roy Wilding Nostalgia Racecars Series, and 13th in the Ultimate Power Series….And a blown engine at Thorney.
